Topic: "How Can I Help My Friends Realize Their Value"
Eligibility: Students under the age of 19 as of December 31, 2012 and have not graduated from high school or its equivalent. Contest is opened to all students: public, private, parochial, and home schooled.
Deadline: Please contact your local sponsoring club.
The deadline for Clubs to submit their winning entry to the District Essay Chair is February 28, 2013.
Club Winner receives, at the discretion of the club, monetary awards of up to $500 and an official medallion.
District Winner receives a $2,500 scholarship and a plaque.
