Club contests must be completed on or before March 15, 2008 . Recognition
at the club level are medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place, Boys and Girls,
purchased through Shumsky. Clubs are now allowed, in their discretion,
to give monetary awards of up to $500 to their contest winners in addition
to the official medallions. Clubs should notify the Lt. Governor immediately
of the names of their winners.
Zone contests must be completed on or before April 5, 2008. Recognition
at the Zone level is with Certificates ONLY, which will be provided
to the Lt. Governors by the District Committee. Winners at the Zone
level will be recognized at the Regional contests.
Regional contests must be completed on or before April 26, 2008 . All
regional participants will be given a plaque, provided by the District
Committee, recognizing that they were the winners at the Zone level.
Winners at the Regional level will be recognized at the District contest.
The names of all regional winners must be submitted to the District
Chair by May 4, 2008.
The District finals will be held at the 3th Quarter District Conference
on May 17, 2008 at the Clarion Hotel in Dublin, Ohio. All District
participants will receive a plaque, provided by the District Committee,
recognizing that they were the winners at the Regional level.
