I am very excited to begin the 2025 year full of hope andexcitement for all the children we are going to serve this year! \n\n\n\nI want to invite you to the second Optimist conference on February 8\, 2025. It will be full of wonderful information to help your clubs grow and besuccessful in your outreach to the children in your communities. \n\n\n\nWe will kick off the day with a visit from our Great Lakes Region Vice President Cheryl Bolten. She and her husband will be visiting us from theirhome in Canada. \n\n\n\nWe will continue the leadership goal with one hour training presented by Mike Zywien. We realize that most\, if not all\, the individuals attending the conference are leaders already\, but we are hoping the training will provide these leaders with additional information to take back to their clubs. Our goal is to support our existing leaders and to help them train potential leaders in their clubs for the future. \n\n\n\nWe will also be providing information from the Wright State University Student Marketing Plan. The students will be attending and rolling out theplan they developed for our district.  \n\n\n\nThis conference is also the awards ceremony provided by Past Governor Tom Kennedy at the evening banquet. \n\n\n\nAs you can see\, we are planning a full and exciting and very rewarding conference.
