Bill O’Neill Memorial Scholarship

You can donate to the Bill O’Neill Memorial Scholarship to fund the Ohio District portion of the Essay, Oratorical and CCDHH Scholarships. The Scholarship fund is named for longtime Optimist member Bill O’Neill.

The Bill O’Neill Memorial Scholarship adds $1000 for the 1st place winner and $500 for the 2nd and 3rd place winners of the Oratorical Contest. The district winners receive a total scholarship of $3500 for 1st place, $2000 for 2nd place and $1500 for 3rd place. For the Essay Contest and the CCDHH Contests, the Bill O’Neill Memorial Scholarship adds $1000 to the 1st place winner for a total of $3500.
