What is more enjoyable than playing golf on a beautiful sunny day? Absolutely NOTHING! Our second largest fundraiser is our annual golf outing which is held every July. We have been blessed with some great weather the past three years in a row at Hickory Nut Golf Course in Columbia Station. The course has some challenging holes and some of the best greens in the county.
All monies raised at our outings go towards developing many of our programs which enrich the lives of the children in our community. Some of the programs we support are field trips for students, Strongville’s Step Back and Think program, H.U.G.S. Foundation, the Cassidy’s Hope Foundation, and the Ronald McDonald House.
Members John Bourjaily (440) 552-3499 and Ken Helms (440) 238-3316 do a fantastic job chairing this event which has become one of the best outings around! Contact one of them to reserve your foursome for this year’s event!
Besides some great golf there is always plenty to eat and drink! The cost is only $90.00 per golfer and includes golf, cart, breakfast lunch, dinner and beverages. There is a hole in one contest and plenty of great prizes. Hole sponsor ships are $100.00 each or $450.00 which include a paid foursome.
